CCSS2 UNIT 10 PROJECT INSTRUCTIONS

CCSS2 Unit 10 Project on the Culture, Art and Architecture of Baroque Europe and the Golden Age of Spain

Instructions

You will work individually and at home, using the internet to prepare an informative pamphlet on one author, artist or architect of your choice mentioned in Unit 10.  The pamphlet will be done on a normal A4 piece of paper folded once down the middle, leaving you four sides.

 

 You must include

1.       At least three pictures of examples his work.

2.       A biography

3.       A brief discussion of his role in the greater context of art, literature or architecture.  That is to say, did he invent a style or develop a new method or genre etc.? Basically, I want to know WHY he is important.
4. A list of your sources. Please use three sources. Only one may be wikipedia. 

You will be graded on

1.       Clarity of your writing. That is, your English.

2.       Completeness of the project. This includes it being handed in on time.

3.       Creativity

You must include the names of the websites where you got your information.  Remember, plagiarism will result in a zero, so be sure to use your own words.  When in doubt, make changes when you have more than four words coinciding with the website.

PROJECTS WILL BE DUE THE 26^TH OF MAY, 2015. IF THE PROJECT IS HANDED IN LATE, TWO POINTS WILL BE SUBTRACTED FROM YOUR MARK FOR EACH DAY. AGAIN, PLAGIARISM WILL RESULT IN A "0" WITH NO OPPORTUNITY TO MAKE UP THE GRADE.
